Earth vase

At each step of the process, from the wheel to the kiln, I drastically select the pieces that can go further. Sometimes, as for the “Earth bowls”, one on ten is finally fired. And, in the end, the kiln, which isn’t always in a good mood, makes the final choices. This is why finding the perfect balance between shapes, scales, volume, textures, and woodfire or glaze effects is a pretty rare alchemy. It is this work, and this work only, that deserves to travel in exhibitions and galleries.
